Predictions for the MSM spin?
The media loves a STORY above all else. Here's what I predict for tonight's story.

It'll be about taking Hillary Clinton down. They've set up her "inevitability" for years now, while the campaign tried to lower expectations for Iowa. (High expectations are never what a campaign wants!) Unless she wins big, which I don't think will happen, the story will be about listing all the reasons she's a failure.

Obama and Edwards will be the story, and my guess (just a guess!) is that it'll be about Edwards' strength as a likeable second pick for his "populist message." If not, it'll be a bunch of BS about how people don't like Edwards coming on strong against BushCo, and they'll write him off.

If it's Obama, it'll be about outside-Washington change and momentum going into NH. But if they set expectations high for him, it could backfire if he doesn't ace NH (although NH seems happy to "me too" Iowa anyway). If for some reason he's third in Iowa (which I doubt), they'll talk about his "inexperience."

If Biden or Richardson get beyond 15%, they SHOULD be part of the story, but I'm not sure the media will interrupt its plot lines for the top three to discuss it much. Not unless they discount one of the current top three entirely. Too many characters confuses their script.

I think all of this is more about storyline and appearing insightful than anything else, EXCEPT in the case of Tweety who is practically pathological about the Clintons, and of course Fox, which is best ignored.

Your predictions?
