Suze Ormon on Larry King Live - wants Obama or Clinton
She says she wants a democrat.. would be happy with either Obama or Clinton for president. She says that she's very much for them, even after Larry asked her "Aren't Republicans better for the economy"? She said Yes.. but she sees all of the issues, and since she's a lesbian she would like to be able to leave her $$$ to her partner, and be able to make medical decisions, etc.

Go Suze Go!

1. Republicans are absolutely NOT better for the economy
Forbes has some ratings of ecomonic properity that verify this.

"Not surprisingly, Bill Clinton tops the magazine's prosperity chart. He is followed by two other Democrats – Johnson and Kennedy. The first Republican to show up is Reagan, who comes in fourth. No Democrat finishes lower than seventh (Truman), and the last three spots are all occupied by Republicans (Nixon, Eisenhower and George H.W. Bush). On a scale of one to eleven (one being Bill Clinton, eleven being the elder Bush), Democrats have an average ranking of 3.8, Republicans of 7.8."

That probably explains why democrats are better for the stock market too. This data is a little old, but the Dems are still significantly better.

DOW SINCE 1901
Republican years Avg. annual change 6.9%
Democratic years Avg. annual change 13.3%

2. Thank you for posting that!
It's a misnomer that Repub Presidents are better for the economy, but it seems almost impossible to dispel the myth! I'm surprised Suze said that.

3. That's the kiss of death for both of them, as far as I'm concerned
The country wants CHANGE, Suze, not the Wall Street friendly policies of the past 38 years that have driven so many of us into poverty and desperation as we watch our debts rise as our purchasing power falls.

To hell with the lot of you and the horses you rode in on.
