This is Joe Biden -------->
The way he is looking at her says it all.

Finally, Michelle, one of the waitresses at the Arrow came out to speak with the Senator before he left. Lacking good healthcare, raising college tuition prices, and a scrunched middle class, Michelle has the weight of the world on her back trying to keep her family afloat. Michelle's got a child prepping for college too, which drives her, like many folks, to tears and worries. The Senator took her aside and told her how he knows it's hard on regular folks right now. Relating a story from his youth, while clutching her hand he told her how his own dad had tried to get a loan for him to go to college, and how he gad come home from the bank in tears because they wouldn't loan to the Bidens. He promised her, and I'd suppose that goes for most of us, that things will get better. We're going to have a government that cares about us again.

Joe Biden may or may not be the change that's coming, but he symbolized that change pretty damn well to Michelle and the rest of us gathered

1. He is so REAL - and I've often seen him become emotional when he talks
about the plight of our homeless, veterans, poor - and just the everyday folks trying to make ends meet.

Compassionate and caring. I know we'd bee in good hands.

Thank you for posting this.

I generally take everything that politicians say with at least two grains of salt. Biden on the other hand keeps his word. Honestly, above all else, this is the reason I switched to him. His sincerity and honesty.

18. How much do you want to bet,
that Biden would attend the funerals of as many fallen soldiers as he could until he could get them all out of Iraq and Afghanistan? If my husband died and George Bush wanted to offer me 'condolences' I'd spit in his face, but I'd fall weeping into Joe Biden's arms knowing that his sorrow for my pain was real. I know that he's pushed hard to let the coffins of fallen Americans be filmed and photographed by the press. They do fly into his state by the way.

He was on Hardball once and started crying telling Matthews about it.

27. I remember that too.
For all of the talk about how "no one was tricked" by Bush/Cheney, I think that Biden seriously did not believe that they were going to #1, NOT exhaust diplomacy, #2 be such utter and complete fools, and #3 take such liberties with the Constitution. Biden is angry and justifiably so about a lot of things.

52. Perhaps you need to correct your verbiage...
"every time", except the "first time" would indicate that he does this often, which is not the case, since the last time, was the first time, was back in 1988.

So maybe you should have said; "The last time Joe Biden ran for president, back in 1988, he was a front runner".

See? Sounds much better, and more factual, less misleading. :-)

59. Biden is a breath of fresh air...
He's intelligent, insightful, tough when necessary, diplomatic, and compassionate, and takes no BS from anyone who tries to screw over the public. He doesn't just spit out what people might want to hear, he'll tell them what they NEED to hear. Like Michelle from that story, who needed some reassurance. Biden is one candidate I wish more people would open their eyes to. My husband is already behind him, and I'm starting to lean that way too. Even if he's not "the one," I think he'll be somewhere in the next Democratic administration, and hopefully in a big way.

75. That picture made me put the MO-JOE banner in my siggie line
I've been reluctant to do it, because so many people are put off by candidate declarations, but what the heck!?

:applause: JOE :applause:

88. I so hope Biden pulls the upset.
I want DK to be the Iowa upset but that doesn't seem likely but Biden has a good shot of making this one really interesting.

95. And that is 100% genuine Biden too, not a convenient photo op.
Anyone who goes to listen to him speak and stays to talk with him after finds this to be true. 100% authentic.
