Poll question: After listening to Obama's relentless attacks, if you had to choose between these two candidates....
Who, ultimately would you choose?

10. I am voting against Hillary because her supporters, like DemKR, are very annoying and very divisive
I have rarely posted in Obama threads because my candidate is Biden. But DemKR is so obnoxious that it makes me want to vote for Obama.

There is my explanation.

...and their freeper allies. Just admit that youve supported Obama all along and move on.

Please search my name and "Biden" and see if you can figure out who I support. Let me know the results.

4. hes my senator...
And he missed 80% of his votes since August because of his selfish desire to be President since Age 2. At least Hillary was able to commit to serving out her first term, oh wait, so did Obama, but he went back on that.

34. Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen Hillary pull 40% in any DU one-on-one poll!
Either DU'ers are warming up to the Goddess of Peace even more than I thought, or poor Obama is the second most unpopular DU candidate in history. Yikes!

39. That does seem odd. I guess it's an Obama thing
For Hillary to pull in more than her usual 14.5% in any one-on-one DU poll, well that speaks volumes for Obama...or against him I should say.

Can you imagine if Obama gets the nod and picks his mentor, Joe Lieberman, to be his running mate, like what many political analysts think? Yikes, he'd probably give Hillary a run for most unpopular Democrat on DU ever! Or if he goes with Donnie McClurkin instead of Lieberman, then what?

41. Many political analysts?
Care to cite a few? Lieberman is not Obama's mentor- in fact, the two are diametrically opposed on one of the most important issues of the election. The McClurkin speculation is beyond preposterous. Your Obama hatred obviously knows no bounds.

46. I know the history you are referring to
Obama was assigned to Lieberman when he first entered the Senate, something that is done with all junior senators to help them become acquainted with how the senate operates. What I reject is the implication that Lieberman is a 'mentor' to Obama in terms of ideology, which is how most people interpret the term. Nothing could be further from the truth.

45. Lieberman is not Obama's mentor? I guess you don't know too much about Obama. Here:
HARTFORD, Conn. --U.S. Sen. Barack Obama rallied Connecticut Democrats at their annual dinner Thursday night, throwing his support behind mentor and Senate colleague Joe Lieberman.

http://boston.com/news/local/connecticut/articles/2006/03/31/obama_rallies_state_democrats_throws_support_behind_lieberman/

Your Obama hatred obviously knows no bounds

Again, not true. I like Obama. He used to be my third favorite candidate until the McClurkin fiasco. Don't mistake my concern for Obama's DU supporters with the man himself. If I felt Obama's supporters on this forum reflected what Barack Obama was really like, I wouldn't have any hope for him at all.

Here, this is a different voice that will explain it better:

48. Please see my above post, #46
And thanks for the broad brush stroke for Obama's DU supporters. Not knowing who you support, I can all but guarantee that there are supporters in your candidate's camp that engage in behavior that most would deem disrespectful and inappropriate. I make no excuses for others' bad behavior, even those who share my support for a particular candidate. I will say, however, that I've seen a number of posters do their best to stay above the fray by putting up positive pieces about Obama, only to watch the thread be hijacked by those determined to trash Obama and his supporters at all costs. Not that this is exclusive to Obama threads, but the point is that there is bad behavior all over this site right now and to lay it primarily on Obama supporters is denying reality.

I'm still curious about 'the number of analysts' you mention who claim that Obama will choose Lieberman as his VP. I've certainly not heard anything like that from any of the analysts or pundits I've listened to. Anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of the two mens' positions would know that such an alliance would make no sense at all. Do you have a source for that claim?
