2. I dunno, but I'm concerned that she may challenge
your candidate for some of those 'post titles' after reading that Monitor article. Competition may get stiff here !

11. So now there are three choices?
You know you cant have it one way and have it the other way too. So you definetly cant have it one way, and another way and another way. Thats just not fair.

16. I fail my gender miserably on that one. I DESPISE shoes.
Edited on Tue Dec-25-07 03:05 AM by wlucinda
They almost threw me out of the "girls club" over it.
I have three pair. And I only wear two of those regularly. And one of THOSE gets replaced with the exact same shoe style when they wear out.

15. Well, you can't have it one way and have it the other way too.
Edited on Tue Dec-25-07 02:50 AM by Occam Bandage
And you can't have it the other way and then a different way. However, when you combine them, then that's not the question any more. Suddenly, we need to know if you can have it the one way or a different way, or possibly the other way, or possibly the other way around. We're not looking for a way to have it both ways here, but she may have stumbled upon a way out.

Some think its when she needs Bill and when she needs to be independent from Bill.

22. whatever works. i think it's cool she keeps rodham around...
she does change it a lot, but often takes and has taken rodham out when it offends sexist people's "sensibilities", rather than the idea of needing bill. Just like when used to take it out when bill ran for gov. b/c people are so scared of her keeping her own name for some reason. So i think it's that rather, than the idea of needing it for to be closer to Bill.

I wonder why any supporter of his would lose sleep over another candidate's name.

33. An illustration that it is Hillary Supporters who keep inflaming anti-Muslim prejudice
I guess they are oblivious that when they mock Obama's middle name they also are also demeaning Muslims.

The Democratic Party should value diversity and we should leave to others to say insensitive things that alienate us from other members of our community.

It shows how eager Hillary folk are to attack Obama--Obama is not Muslim anyhow! But he has that funny sounding middle name that can inflame people! O Boy! Let's inflame! O goody! Merry Xmas

25. Her Senate website has always said HRC.
http://clinton.senate.gov/

Why are you so fixated on her name? Is it really that important to you? Seems like a silly thing to be obsessed with.

This same question gets brought up - and answered - every few days.

Otherwise I suspect we won't be seeing much of you in 2008.

I also have two last names, and sometimes I use both, while sometimes I use only one of them. It's not something to get worked up about.

This is just a sexist issue.

I'm so sorry we even have to address something like this.

I'm still torn that I didn't keep my birth name when I got married. I use both forms now on different occasions. It doesn't freaking matter!!!

If it's less than $100, it's just Hillary Clinton. If it is greater than $100, its Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Etiquette you know!
