Uh-oh....Is Huckabee in with Pastor Hagee?
Just saw on Faux News (yes I watch it sometimes) a campaign round up of the day.

The anchor said "And Gov. Mike Huckabee made an appearance at a mega-church in Texas, and even did a little preaching..."

Meanwhile the video showed Huckabee and standing next to him seemed to be Pastor John Hagee.

Hagee is one of those really off the wall types who preaches about the coming apocolypse, and basically says war on Iran is inevitable as a sign of the end-times.

Ohhhh, say it aint so. If Huckabee is allied with those folks, it'll be Katie Bar the Door if he gets the nomination.

2. Indeed he is.........
Mike Huckabee stirred up the faithful at a mega-church in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday, preaching to a congregation of 10,000 evangelical Christians who gave him a superstar welcome, including a 30 second standing ovation, and plenty of applause for his refusal to apologize for invoking Jesus’ name in a recent Christmas ad.

But Huckabee’s appearance at the church undoubtedly brought with it an undercurrent of a man seeking the approval of influential opinion-makers. Cornerstone is run by evangelical leader Pastor John Hagee, frequently a spokesman for the 50-million strong movement. Hagee, a well-known defender of Israel, has received criticism from the Catholic League for statements he’s made about the Catholic Church’s connection to the Nazis in World War II Germany. “I want to thank your pastor, Pastor Hagee, for having me here today. (He is) one of the great Christian leaders of our nation,” Huckabee said.

8. Hagee and his minions are dangerous...
Any candidate in his right might would avoid them like the plague.

9. A kick for David Schuster
Apparently, Schuster raised the possibility of a President Huckabee on TV this morning. (I didn't see it but read about it here.)

If Huckabee really continues his rise, the implications of this are, um, unsettling.
