Poll question: Bloomberg or Clinton?
And before you vote, here's a bit about Bloomberg: He's socially liberal, supports stem cell research, abortion rights, GBLT rights- not sure about marriage for all. He's strongly pro-gun control. He seems a bit vague on Iraq. He believe is talking to Iran. He is strongly free trade. He believes in action against climate change.

from the republican party. He has been an independent for many months now.

Thanks.

9. In all fairness, he's not a repuke. he's an independent
having said that, no way would I vote for him. He's far more of a free trade devotee than Clinton, evidently. Not to mention that I find buying political office out of your own pocketbook, even more repugnant than raising it- including the some of Clinton's money is raised.

But I think the vote is more antipathy toward Clinton than anything else.

30. I cannot vote fairly. His apprach to fiscal and economic issues
What is his position on Entitlement Programs. We are facing a Recession
What does he believe is the role of government. Does he believe in the
common good or does he believe in minimal government--small enough
to be flushed down the bath tub?? What is opinion of Entitlement
Programs. Does he believe they were wrong from the start and must
be gotten out of the hands of government or does he believe they
serve a good and useful purpose? How does he see Health care??
Does he believe our FreeTrade Policy is working well?? This tells
me a lot about how he views the plight of Middle Class.

I realize some like to call him an elitist. FDR was uber elistic
he was a "Blue Blood" However, He Did more to help the Poor amd
Working Class than any President. Our Elites of today have given
Elitism a bad name. I am willing to hear justr what kind of Elite
he is.

How would he propose to remedy the Immigration Problem??

What is his answer to all the loss of jobs and the fact we are
losing the Middle Class?

Foreign Policy? General Principles.

These are issues that affect people everyday of their life.

Too early for me to vote.

He bought the line that 9/11 was connected to Saddam, which any thinking person knew wasn't true.

That's enough to reject him as far as I'm concerned.

They never directly connected Iraq to 9/11 that way. Read up on Bloomberg and Iraq. He hasn't made many statements, but the ones he made at the beginning of the war are as wrong-headed as anything that came out of Bush.

have blooms once a democrat switch to being a republican and now he is what an independent? Which way does he lean? to the right or to the left? Why would anyone support a candidate that left the democratic party? I doubt serious he will get into the race but if he does we will have another nader cause the "thinking" left democrats will vote for him and the repubican will walk right on in.....
