Why wasn't Chris Matthews upset when Ed Rollins noted neither Romney nor Huckabee had used cocaine?

Why wasn't Chris Matthews upset when Ed Rollins noted neither Romney nor Huckabee had used cocaine?
The clear implication was there was a candidate who had used cocaine. One doesn't have to be too much of a politics geek to know the identity of that candidate. Why wasn't Matthews all over Rollins for daring to bring up cocaine? I thought drugs were off the table. Is there a special exception for Republicans attacking Democrats?

For all anybody can say, they might have been using drugs steadily throughout their college/missionary years and who'd tell on 'em?
