First off, no mas on the Nader tip. NO MAS!!! I beg of you. Why are so many intelligent people who can add and look at numbers worrying about this. I don't like what he did in 2000, and even if he didn't actually physically take votes away from Gore, he added to the media climate that made it a more uphill battle from Gore and I think that was just as bad....but I can't stress enough HE WILL NOT BE A FACTOR. Someone who is still going to vote for him at this point is about as likely to vote for the Dem candidate as a republican is. And we wouldn't waste our time, effort, breath, words or whatever trying to convince them so why would we do the same in this instance.

Also, as much as I like Kerry I'm glad Edwards is still duking it out and happy this primary season is extending. The fact is that this means its much less time that the GOP/RNC/Media will have a sitting target and will know who to go after. Right now they still have a chance that they don't know who they will need to attack so they have to hold out a little longer to pull out the big guns. And then follow that up with the post-nomination glow which usually lasts a little while and I think we've got ourselves a really good situation here, whichever one of them becomes the nominee.

Doesn't mean we don't still have an uphill battle, it just means that there's more on our side to make me happy and optimistic, as oppossed to anyone already having the nomination. Even Kerry supporters I would hope can see this.
