I'm a Kucinich guy, but I'm thinking....
it's most likely I'll vote Edwards in my state's (Wyoming) insignificant primary in August, when things are pretty much over. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Right now, my dream scenario to rev things up for Edwards would be a Gore endorsement.

1. Me too ... A Gore endorsement would really help Edwards
Why oh why oh WHY didn't Gore pick Edwards for his running mate in 2000? I know he was on the "short list" and I just keep banging my head against the wall at what could have been ...

3. Joe Lieberman had more power in those days, as a big pusher inside the DLC.
Gore, too, was within the DLC but left in the waning days of the 2000 election to try to recast his campaign in more populist terms, but it was way too late to change strategy by then.

5. As I understand it
Gore picked Lieberman to get the elderly Jewish vote in Florida....which he did. I still am amazed about that stolen election.

9. Yeah, and Gore might have gotten even fewer votes in FLA w/o JL
But still ... I really wish Gore would run this year, and pick Edwards as his running mate. Both Gore and Edwards were more centrist back in 2000 but I think the last 7 years have turned them both into full-bore liberals and they'd now make a great team.

10. That might have been the intention
But if I remember correctly, a lot of those elderly Jews ended up voting for Pat Buchanan, courtesy of the butterfly ballot designed by Teresa LeWhore. Yeah, she was a "Democrat" :eyes:

2. I'm a Kucinich Gal myself but I'd vote for Edwards and a few others
without hesitation. I'm OK with most of the democratic candidates.

6. Yeah I'm in the same boat as you. Just saw Tweety's interview
with Edwards and was very impressed.

11. I'm with you. It breaks my heart that Kucinich isn't viable but I'm looking at Edwards and, in light
of his heroic efforts on the FISA filibuster, I'm giving Dodd another look.

I really agree with Edwards' platform.

13. Kucinich gets my vote on May 20th.
If it's "pretty much over," why would I go with a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th choice? Why not vote for the person I choose above the rest?
