How much is the WGA strike affecting the campaigns? The late night shows and
the Daily Show have been off and many people track political criticism on them. What do you think?

2. Colbert
I do not feel the strike was really held at this time to prevent the majority of Americans from hearing about the campaigns.

The undecided voters will still get info about the candidates, and the already-decided have already decided. Plus, nothing earth-shattering has come out...yet.

So, personally, I don't think feel the late night shows would have changed anything.

What issues I do feel were hidden by the strike were the FISA bill and the recent FCC vote. Both oddly enough having to do with telecom corporations.

How convenient, eh?

Oh, and The Daily Show isn't the only program where the host discusses politics on late night TV.

Have you forgotten about The Right Honorable Maestro Doctor Professor Field Marshall The Reverend Stephen T. Colbert, D.F.A., Esquire?

Or do you hate our troops?
