Poll question: If you weren't talking politics, who would be most fun to hang out with?
I've read a couple articles about the importance of being likable, and by some measures, Bush, Clinton, and Reagan were all more likable then their opponents.

13. No room
With a limit of 10, there was no room. I was actually curious to see if people would choose Huckabee, who plays music, has a sense of humor, seems laid back, etc. He'd be an awful president, but I think he comes off as likable.

16. Until you've had him as your governor
then you know how he doesn't care about people, even his base. Ask the people of Valley Springs in Boone County, one of the reddest counties in the state.

3. Bill Richardson.
He's an Internet Texas Hold 'Em Bazillionaire, a college hoops fanatic, and a diner food-a-holic.
If I put on some weight, we'd be twins!

17. I like Richardson's creds here. Diner food...yummmm, I'm from Jersey
originally and when money was scarce, diner food was the best, the most for the money..

24. Yeah!
He's not my candidate but he just seems like he'd be fun to have some beers with down there (and maybe I'm saying that partly because I'm in Chicago and can't stand this weather :)

26. What side of the tracks are you talking about?
Obama was never poor or anything close to it.

27. He spent years in a third world nation and...
he worked as a Community Organizer in Chicago. That's a more balenced world view than most of our political leaders get exposed to.

10. DK and his wife.
He's probably the only candidate that I would actually enjoy hanging out with. We'd have lots to talk about.

Obama might surprise me in a social setting, but I've never really seen him in non-politician mode.

21. Thompson hands down
C'mon folks, the poll says you are NOT talking about politics. If I was choosing to sit and talk to someone about anything at all I'd choose Biden, cause the man is obviously the most knowledgable out there. But I doubt he can have a conversation without talking about politics, it's leached in his bones at this point...
