And why we have suffered through Bush2 all this time.

10. What absolute bullshit another bashing bunch of crap
This country's image is a mess. If it takes Bill Clinton and George WH to do it what in the hell's wrong with that. The people of the world liked GHW they hate his son.

Will Obama make it all better? If he can't show up to vote, would he show up to govern the government....

I think this constant bashing really really shows the type of people that support Obama. You think this country was a mess under bush if this type of hate gets going it is hard to tell what will happen to us.

I still haven't made my mind up, but this is the type of story that certainly helps me!!! I remember the day Clinton beat GHWBush, and it was one of the happier political days in my life...I was SO HAPPY to end 12 years of Reagan-Bush...and I'm gonna be SO HAPPY to end 8 more years of Bush...the LAST THING I WANT, is the Bushes to have ANY SAY WHATSOEVER in what happens after junior is gone...

This disgusts me...

15. Americans threw GHW out of office after 4 years. He was a vile "light" version of his son...
That Bill and GHW are friends says much about how he coddles the very people who made him and we the people miserable for Clinton's two terms with investigations and mudslinging. GHW is best friends with the Reverend Moon...all his sons have been involved with Criminal Enterprises.

If Bill and Hillary want to pal around with him ...let them do it on their own time and not from the White House.

18. What I find astonishing about this
is

How can Bill Clinton think that a statement like this is going to help Hillary in the primaries?

I would think that this would tend to alienate Democrats who might be struggling to tolerate Hillary, but cannot, anyway you cut it, stomach any politician named Bush.

20. I think it is meant for people who would like to see an end to the big split
and polarization in this country. I don't agree with the solution but I can understand the idea and where Bill is coming from...as Johnson used to say, "have them in the tent peeing out, rather than peeing in". I didn't like Johnson but I get the thought. We are very polarized on DU but I suspect there are many Americans who want everyone to get together again. Part of that anti-bush poll is not just Democrats, but people who don't like all the hate.

25. The "Hate" has come from the Right...and the Left has had to defend itself against
attacks from the MSM, RW Think Tanks, Evangelicals, Corporate Interests and Karl Rove and before him Lee Atwater attacks. It's not Democrats who "hate" it's those who are trying to beat the party into dust that are the "haters."

Lying down with the Devil doesn't bring this country together. The Bush Crime Family has torn this country apart and should be shunned by every citizen who supports the Constitution and the Laws that are "supposed" to keep the crooks and criminals from gaining power.

23. I think he's hoping this attracts conservatives in Iowa.
But it cuts both ways - democrats who are sitting on the fence and not yet in her corner and distrust all things bush may decide not to support her in the primaries. Quite a lot of risk in this maneuver. The Clinton camp must be feeling that desperate about Iowa that they would throw out this trial balloon.

24. When I read what Bill said over at TPM last night...I thought.."What is Bill thinking?"
Does he not realize how unpopular Bush I was with the Dem Party that he would think that this would go over well? Does he not know that we Dems defended Clinton's penis for eight years against the attacks by the Bushie RW...Reverend Moon's and the RW Evangelicals plus the RW Think Tanks who wanted to put another Bush in the WH?

I don't know what's going on with Bill except that he will do anything and align himself with the worst elements in America just to get another chance to redeem his Presidency which was tarnished by impeachment.

I'm tired of the Clinton Psychodrama... It's time to move on.

28. With this coming out, you may see something that
we never thought could happen. Dems staying home in droves on election night if Clinton gets the nomination. I would say that more people will apply to Canada for citizenship. The more I hear of Hillary, the more I don't know if I could vote for her.

And this new news, I wonder if Bill wants her to win the nomination at all. Or are they trying to get repubs votes? I don't know, but we, as a country, did not do well under Bush 41. I'm sure that most people will only remember the "no new taxes", and then he raised taxes, part about him.

And, let's face it, nothing much will change if she gets in charge. CEO's will still make 10's of millions off the backs of the real working man, while the working man carries the weight of the whole economy on his back. We still get phucked, but this time from our "own" party.

39. Please tell this to all the Katrina victims
who are still without homes, and will probably never get them back. Please tell this to those people who are fighting to keep the low income housing so they will have a place to live while they are working the wonderful minimum wage jobs. Please tell this to those who have not been let back into their UNDAMAGED houses to even retrieve their possessions, much less live in them. Then report back to me how great these 2 men have been.

Bush 41 is only doing this to try to REPAIR his "good" name in the world. But he and his wife ("Barbara chuckled as she said: "So many of the people here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them.") certainly have proven that they are real genuine caring people. :sarcasm:

It's all PR, and I want REAL work done for poverty, not the photo op kind.

40. Oh, this is gonna work.
Poor Hillary is going to get "help" from George Bush, the WORST FAILED President of the last 100 years!

She also says she will get "help" from Colin Powell, the disgraced frontman for Bush* at the UN!!!

Ex-President Bill Clinton has stepped in to "help" Hillary in the campaign, but mostly he just steals the spotlight during their campaign appearances leaving Hillary 2 steps behind in the shadows. (Big Dog sure knows how to work a crowd, but shouldn't this be about Hillary?)

Boy, Hillary sure seems to need a lot of "help" from men. Is it because she is a girl?
I think this "Men Helping Hillary" meme is a tad misogynistic.

I prefer a President who doesn't need so much "help" from Republicans.

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those
who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.
