I remember back in October, watching on C-span the footage from her birthday party. President Clinton was speaking. And he said that Sen. Clinton had come home nearly in tears, because she had found out that many of her lifelong friends had traveled to Iowa, and went door-to-door to talk about the Hillary Clinton they have known for so many years.

She was just touched by it all.

I think it says a lot when a person has kept the same friends for over 30 years.

The suit she wore at the debate in Des Moines last August was stunning. It was a nice beige and it looked great with the crisp white blouse she wore. My friends and I all commented on how good she looked. My best friend was driving her 'gatekeepers' around that day so she got to see the suit up close. We still talk about it today. Really. We know our clothes!

You've got the wrong person here....I don't hate Hillary. The candidate I support doesn't hate her either. He made a really lame joke about her coat. I hate it when he jokes and it falls flat. But it was just a joke.

But that doesn't mean I won't state my opinions on things that I think are odd. I don't think it is unusual that she has friends for 30+ years who say great things about her. My friends would, too. That is why they call them friends.

I keep hoping every day that Hillary will show me something, anything so that the populist union guy in the back of my political brain will let me vote for her. I've never not voted for the dem in a race and I don't want to stay home on election day or vote some obscure party if she gets the nom. I just don't see where she is giving me any choice.
