The Clintons have caused me to make a decsion
I was going to vote for John Edwards on Feburary 5 In Missouri but I am officilly for Barrack Obama.
All the attacks on him for daring to challenge Hillary show they aren't much better than those the
Clintons rail against. It Is time to move past Clintons/Bushes.We need real change. Not more of the same from the DLC.

I can not vote for Hillary Clinton for any reason.I will not vote for any republicans. If she Is the
nominee I will eather vote third party or vote for other offices and not for President.

People need to look past the Clinton BS and ask yourself who would do the best on these

Ending war In Iraq
not going to war In Iran
protecting civil rights
Saving Social Security and medicare
Improving Health care
doing something about the free trade deals killing our ecomony

people should also remember polls can change. While Hillary wins general election polls now. That can change. She would get no Republican cross over votes.SOme Independents who don't like Bush don't like her,and a small group of democrats could refuse to vote for her.

2. Any vote not cast for the Democratic nominee, is a vote cast for the Republican nominee
And the attitudes you espouse mean that if Hillary is nominated you would have to leave DU.

11. "Any vote not cast for the Democratic nominee, is a vote cast for the Republican nominee"
I wonder why this simple concept goes over the head of so many people? Not voting for the Democratic nominee is one thing that helped give us Bush in 2000 no matter how hard you try and explain around it.

5. Oh and trust me. If there is dirt to be had on her or her husband, it will come to the fore
Edited on Mon Dec-17-07 08:37 PM by Windy
Even if there is nothing new, we will have to relive her husbands indescretions all over again, the issues be damned. It is time for new blood.

I am leaning Obama, but I have become a anyone but Hillary voter.

The issue that sealed it for me was her vote for Kyl/Lieberman then turing around and stating that it was a diplomatic move.

Everything is always nuanced with Hillary, just as it was with her husband.

Their propensity to participate in dirty politics (while crying that those tactics were used on them by the right wing) has just disgusted me. The fact that others such as Bob Kerrey and Wes Clark have sold their souls to the Clintons to try and get a position if she is elected just turns my stomach. For god sake, Wes Clark had a website dedicated to fighting the administration on going to war with Iran. He regulary took Lieberman to task... He then endorses Clinton and all of the sudden, the Kyl/Lieberman amendment is wonderful.

No, the clintons only have their best interests at heart, not the best intersts of the nation.

They (and I do mean THEY) won't get my vote.

all sorts of terrible people. if they were so terrible Obama would be able to stop them. and if he can't stop mean 'ol terrible horrible bill doing everything right out in the open, how the hell can he even keep this country safe? you don't have to give him a victim vote. he's not a victim of anything. and if he is, that's pathetic. he's not.

7. I guess if it is true that you are lying about having been an
Edwards supporter, then by your logic I cannot support Edwards or Obama. Your dishonesty has caused me to make a decision.....

12. DO NOT fail to vote Democrat. You're going to make a HUGE mistake!!
Edited on Mon Dec-17-07 08:51 PM by Sarah Ibarruri
Here we go again with the same bs. Last time this happened, all the angry people, angry that we didn't have a more lefty sort of candidate, voted Republican by refusing to vote, or by voting a 3rd party. DO NOT DO THAT. You are sentencing us to 8 more years of another Nazi freak like Bush. Take a deep breath! I agree 100% with you. I don't want Sen. Clinton, but DO NOT put another Bush into office.

Don't you understand that even if Sen. Clinton is a right wing Democrat, she STILL is not a Republican? Don't you understand how many old peopl are suffering in this country? How many children? How many poor people? How many working poor? How many disabled? Some people cannot afford to have another Bible-banging Repugnican freak. Please don't let your anger get the best of you. Anger is going to screw us again, hurting the weakest in our country. Anger will lead us to stupidity again. Don't make the same mistake we made before.

14. Your advice on what we should consider when selecting a
is excellent.

The reason you give for changing candidates is lame.
If you think this food fight is bad, you had better not
watch or read about the election campaign. Gop play hardball.

Here is an example or two.

2000 Primary. J. McCain has one adopted child.(Indian) The MCCains adoped
her at the request of Mother Theresa.
The GWB Campaign Supporters made ROBO calls and flyers in mailboxes.
John McCain had an illegitimate child--black.
John MCCain is unstable, implying his service in Vietnam had left
him mentally affected.
John McCain's wife is a drug addict. She had had medical problems)
There was some wild accusation regarding gays.

There were at least 6 of these absolute lies made into horrible
distortions.
Needless to say , GWB won.
My point here is Truth is the first casualty of an election
campaign.
In the last election. Flyers were sent out all over W.Va.
"Liberals will take your Bibles and make it legal for two
males to have sex"

Our Candidates had better toughen up and be ready to fight
back.

The Media did not help McCain. So do not expect their help.
GWB did what he had to do to win the campaign was the response
from Cokie Roberts (D) George Stephanopolis, supposedly a Democrat.

Practice your political hardball.

see the lies and distortions that the media Is. A shame really that after all that we have been through, we still buy their bull hook-line-sinker.

19. Clinton has not earned my primary vote.
But I will vote for her if she in the nominee.

I also expect all the Edwards haters out there to vote for Edwards if he's the nominee.

Same goes for the Obama haters.

It works both ways.
