Did Hillary lie this morning?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/12/17/clinton-contradicts-her-o_n_77103.html

Today
On Monday, Hillary Clinton contradicted her top strategist by stating that her campaign had asked Bill Shaheen, the New Hampshire co-chair, to resign after his controversial remarks Barack Obama's past drug use.

"We asked him to step down," Clinton said during a media blitz that saw her go on six morning news shows. "Every time somebody in my campaign says something that we don't believe is right, appropriate, we take care of it... We move quickly. And we will keep doing it."

--------

Last week
MATTHEWS: Did you tell him to step down?

PENN: The senator made that clear. No, he stepped down. And he made clear...

MATTHEWS: Do you tell him to step down? It took 24 hours for him to do it. Do you think he did it in time...

PENN: No. No.

54. I know you are smart enough to see the difference here.
There is an objective truth.
Either Shaheen was told to resign or he decided this himself.

Hillary says he was told to do so.
Penn says he did it on his own.

This is a blatant contradiction.

So who was lying, Penn or Hillary?

I believe Hillary fudged the facts to make her appear more in control of her outfit,
but maybe Penn was lying.

Either way, someone was definitely being dishonest.
And you don't like dishonesty, do ya rinsd?

I dont think this is a big deal even if she did lie about it. But most likely they (Penn and Hillary) just had bad communication and they both thought they were telling the truth.

44. I disagree...
It speaks to her/their tactics of running a campaign. If they'll lie about this, they'll lie about other things. It speaks to a larger issue of dirty campaigning. I doubt they had "bad communication." They run a tight ship.

I guess you need to figure out who actually told him to step down.

Anything to slam one of the candidates. Huffington Post is written by a woman who married a wealthy guy and did very well by him, until it became known that he was gay. She and he also hired illegal aliens to work on their house and grounds. Does she have credibility? Bartcop says no more credibility than Dowd...another loser.

Some of these phonies and trolls amongst us are revealing themselves time and time again.

And Matthews? You accept Matthews show as gospel?
