Iowa Congressman Loesback endorses Obama

Nice endorsement today for Obama from Representative Dave Loebsack (D-Iowa).

What impressed him most about Obama is "what I see is his ability to unify folks, to work across the partisan divide, if you will," said Loebsack. He has made similar attempts to work with Republicans on education legislation in the House, he said.

Both Biden and Edwards were courting him as well.

When it comes to the three-way split among the three Iowa Democrats in the U.S. House--Boswell for Clinton, Brayley for Edwards, and Loebsack for Obama--Boswell is a Blue Dog, and Brayley is a New Dem , and Loebsack is in the progressive caucus. So, the three are split in more than just their candidate endorsements.

It probably didn't have much to do with their picks, but then again, it might have something to do with their politics.
