I feel much better...just contributed to the NH Gore Write-In Campaign

I'm tired of being told what is NOT possible, how unlikely it is that the little I am able to do can make a difference or how unlikely it is to happen.

Once in a while, you just gotta do what ya gotta do.

This IS what I believe would best for the country and the world, for that matter ... and, until the convention's nominating process is over, I will continue to do everything and anything I can to get Al Gore to run and become the nominee.

If nothing else, I'll sleep better at night knowing I did what, in my conscience, I knew I should.

1. What do they do with the money?

since Gore ain't running, I was just wondering what the money is being used for.

4. Well, here's what I know about NH and the Draft Gore movement

They are going to use 100% of the donations to get the message out to voters to write-in Al Gore.

Now, here is why I believe NH is unique.

They are a level headed, hard working,` bunch who don't mind bucking the system now and again, if they feel it's the right thing to do. They are famously independent and revere and respect the Constitution, justice, fair play, etc. They take their responsibility, as the first primary state, very seriously and are probably the most well-informed group of voters collectively assembled in one state.

They have the third largest legislative body in the World - after the US Congress and I believe the British Parliament, because they strongly believe in truly representative government.

So, IMO, this microcosm of thoughtful, independent minded Americans, is a rare venue that can afford those who believe Al Gore would be the best nominee/President, an opportunity to have their opinion heard. That is, if the voters in NH agree.

But, it won't happen unless people know about it.

2. at this point gore is not going to run

i think it was awful for him to not denounce his candidacy if he was not going to run. I also hate the fact that he didnt run. but thats just me. Move on work for someone who does want to turn america into a new direction through the political process, and of course cheer gore on in the private sector.
