4. No one is sending their jobs to India, so why should they care?
Of course the candidates wanted their endorsement.

However, the plight of computer techs and scientists probably isn't on their radar.

6. Outsourcing hits a new class of workers: journalists
http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/11/19/business/outsource.php

The rush of job recruiting ads on MonsterIndia.com tells the story of the latest class of workers to watch their trade start migrating to another continent.

"Urgent requirement for business writers," reads one ad looking for journalists to locate in Mumbai. "Should be willing to work in night shifts (UK shift)."

Another casts for English-speaking journalists in Bangalore with "experience in editing and writing for US/International Media."

Remote-control journalism is the scornful term that unions use for the shift of newspaper jobs to low-cost countries like India or Singapore with fiber-optic connections transmitting information all around the world.

But the momentum for "offshoring" to other countries or outsourcing locally is accelerating as newspapers small and large seek ways to reduce costs in the face of severe stresses, from sagging circulation and advertising revenue to shareholder pressure.

7. They've already replaced US govt. with BFEE/Dubai's ruling elite - Global fascism
Just as planned since the last 50 years. The only real stumble in their journey was when that darn Kerry uncovered IranContra and BCCI operations. The global fasism would have been in place for ten years by now but for the interference of Kerry.

9. Poppy Bush referred to New World Order at least 40 times in speeches.
But mention it to some Dems and get accused of being a conspiracy theorist.

In New York, the work is being sent to India.

I hope that I'm out of the field before it hits me, but I can see it coming.

Basically, the only jobs that are safe from outsourcing are those that require face-to-face contact, like cutting hair or fixing cars. Of course, both can be in-sourced and there are lots of immigrants doing both for cheap. Fixing cars seems to be in the lead, however. Making a living cutting hair seems to require the ability to gab in the language of the customer about things that are important to that customer. It's more culturally sensitive. Car fixing requires a little less personal contact.

Why chief execs aren't outsourced to India, I don't know. Someone with an Indian background is now head of Citibank (or one of its rivals). Wouldn't it be cheaper if he just took the whole operation to Bangalore or Mumbai? Enquiring shareholders want to know!

20. Most people I know just laugh at me when I try to talk about this stuff,
even the ones that understand that I could be in trouble. They just don't get it.

I've been trying since the '70s. It's hard to keep up the effort. Folks just simply do not care.

inforced on preference for Americans meaning all Americans offered job refused - they advertise in tiny paper, get no response - and claim need.

39. Support of this practice is non-progressive and unconscionable.
Democrats who support job offshoring make me sick. For real. Destroying one middle class to lift another enhances nothing but rich bank accounts on both sides of the pond. Prices on toys and other worthless items may drop in the short term while necessities like education, housing, transportation, health care and such continually soar out of reach.
