Clinton Team Kept Pushing Coke Story, Says Edwards Camp
The issue related to cocaine use is not something the campaign is in any way raising," said Penn on "Hardball."

Trippi, who was standing next to Penn, seized on the use of the word "cocaine" as evidence that the Clinton team was intentionally trying to associate Obama with his past drug use even after the campaign had accepted the resignation of Bill Shaheen, the New Hampshire campaign co-chairman who first raised Obama's past drug use during a Wednesday interview with The Washington Post. http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2007/12/12/post_235.html

"I think he just did it again," said Trippi. "He just did it again."

"Unbelievable," he continued. "He just said cocaine again."

The Edwards campaign is hoping to benefit from the increasing acrimony.

During a Saturday conference call with reporters, Edwards' communications director and Iowa state director promoted the former North Carolina senator as an appealing alternative to "the back-and-forth" between Clinton and Obama.

1. "The Edwards campaign is hoping to benefit from the increasing acrimony."
Of course they are. They would be crazy not to. What a perfectly crafted political message: "We, the Edwards camp, deplore that the Clinton camp wants to talk about Obama's past drug use."

7. It's a replay of "Mr Nice Guy" routine from 2004. No one but Village Voice
called him on it - entire MSM played his game for him.

kinda reminds me of the kid on the playground ready to tattle-tale on anyone in order to make himself look somehow "better" or "right".

6. Which Edwards Is The Real Democrat?
The war-co-sponsorin' free-trade-with-china-and-bankruptcy-bill-votin' Edwards? Or the I'm-sorry-for-my-entire-Senate-votin'-record Edwards?

5. Edwards has a few million left Cash On Hand
He will barely be able to put up TV in NH after IA. He's finished.

Obama sucked all the money and oxygen out of the room, poor guy.

I think if he does not win either Iowa or NH, Edwards will drop out and endorse Obama and put his name on Obama's short list for VP.

9. If my primary choice JRE puts his name on
the slick, smooth talkers short list, it will make me an independent. I don't care for Hillary (but do feel sorry for all the crap she has to take on this board) Obama is way to smooth talkin for me, reminds me of a used car salesman. And I am entitled to my opinion. Any other Dem would have me in a heart beat.

19. More proof Edwards is who we need in the WH
Someone who knows how to play the game and will use it against the GOP at every opportunity. He will be great at getting the Dem agenda through Congress.

And I have a very strong suspicion he will pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration.

14. Edwards must be getting the big "snub" from Obi wan kenobi ...heh!
after he sabotaged his own campaign, attacking Clinton for 6 weeks running not only with negative ads but attacking her on stage at the debates... What do you expect, Johnny Boy? Obama is a sociopath. He doesn't have a conscience. All promises made to you (ie..VP slot) are off. Look at what he did to the guy running his Face-Book account. How much would he have had to pay the guy from his Obama campaign account, a fair and decent sum, leaving everyone with a good taste in their mouth? Instead, Obama used a legal issue, his trademarked name, as the excuse for pulling the account from the originator without offering him a single dime. That was your red flag warning right there.

You've been had...John Boy, had.. good Luck to ya figuring a way out of this dilemma.
