Biden: DMR endorsement a great coup for Hillary. They were fair. They listened to us all.

Biden, as tends to happen, came off as an adult in his interview with Blitzer on CNN this morning. He didn't whine and he didn't pretend it wasn't significant and he didn't announce he didn't really want it in the first place. If that's representative of the kind of responses he gave the DMR editorial board, it's easy to imagine they had a hard time deciding which Democrat to endorse.

5. It was very interesting that on Late Edition, Biden was not

asked any questions until the very end about "the campaign". He spoke eloquently and forcefully about the very dire threats facing our country, was eloquent about Iraq, the surge, Pakistan and a number of issues.. full of substance and fact. I will heretofore follow the lead of my favorite candidate and refrain from knocking the endorsement :-)

He isn't comfortable in the glitz and glamour arena. This primary is serious stuff and all the "celebrity" of late is frosting that covers up the issues so they don't have to be discussed in detail.

The way parts of the endorsement read nearly gave me the impression that it was a tense decision.
Although what they finally put out was reasonably graceful and complimentary.

It may stimulate some curiosity for Biden, who knows.
I keep thinking that people who hate the infighting, but don't quite like Edwards will go for Biden and he will have a good showing there. He may be able to pick up a lot of independents. I keep thinking he will have a good showing there.
