I met Joe Biden for the third time a couple weeks ago. On this occasion, it was of a more intimate setting, and I was able to speak with him for a little while. When he first made his way into the gathering, he approached the small group I had the pleasure of speaking with. He introduced himself, and we all began to speak with him. When he turned to me and reached out his hand, I told him my name and he seemed to recognize who I was (or I'd like to think so), maybe because of my video I produced to show my support for him. He put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me in. I was not in awe of the man per say, and that is a reflection of how Joe puts you at ease. Instead, I felt an enormous respect. A profound respect for who he is as a man, a father, and a servant. He instills what seems to be a deep trust that can't be specifically explained, but indeed it is there and it is inspiring. I told him I was a struggling actor, and he told me a story about when he was first running for the Senate, and how difficult it was to be rejected, and put down often during his young campaign.

It was a wonderful evening, and I must say, to be in the room with someone like Joe Biden, you feel like America still has a chance to be great again. You walk away with a deep yearning in your heart to do whatever you can...whatever you can to lift Joe Biden up to our nation's highest office because America deserves him...needs him. He is...one of the best we have. And I do not have a single doubt that Joe Biden will mend our broken nation, and build it back to greatness...and the rest of the world will follow.

People of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina...America's future is in your hands.

we would all be in this TOGETHER -- that he would be part of the team and rolling up his sleeves and working with us to heal our country and heal our relationship to the world. I think he, more than any of the other candidates, is perfectly suited for this job during this critical time in our history.

I'm so pleased you got the opportunity to meet him. His understanding of the difficulty of rejection you have to deal with as an actor shows the compassion and empathy he possesses.

I entrust our Iowan friends to represent those of us who aren't fortunate enough to be able to participate. I have faith Joe will do well!

Very nice tribute to our man Joe Biden. I've not met him yet but am hoping to do so at some point as I'm an active supporter. Out of a field of impressive and worthy Democratic candidates, he stands head and shoulders above the rest. And the Republican candidates? Well, not one of them even comes close. Keep the faith - the nation is waking up - seeing and hearing the man - FINALLY!

10. I've Tried to Identify In Myself...

the reason I feel so strongly about Joe Biden. It is not easy. There is a certain sense of confidence I feel when I read his speeches or watch his videos. I suppose the term that comes to mind most often is "genuine." This is a truly genuine person. There is no attempt to play all sides. He is who he is. You can accept him or reject him. It doesn't seem to matter to him because he remains true to his convictions.

While the other candidates (top tier) are attempting to tear each other down and parse words, Joe just says it like it is. He seems to be the only one speaking to the issues. And he does it over and over again.

While Joe speaks honestly about the extensive challenges we face in the future, he does it in a way that makes you believe that there is a way out. He exudes confidence in both himself and the American people.

As I have said before, Biden is acting more like a President than he is a candidate.
