Boehner admits GOP money situation ‘sucks'
most of this is politico making excuses for Boehner and trying to sugarcoat Boehners history.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1207/7321.html

“Now the money sucks for two reasons,” Boehner said in a Politico interview. “People are mad at the president; they are mad at the party. And then this whole immigration fight. People just turned off the spigot.”

Boehner has undertaken a study, consulting corporate image experts, to “re-brand” the party. But so far, no big ideas have emerged. Some of his own colleagues regard Boehner as more of a transitional figure, between the Gingrich-DeLay era (in truth, both men drove Boehner to distraction) and the next generation of leadership.

At the end of the third quarter, the Democratic campaign arm had $28 million in the bank; the Republicans had $1.6 million (and twice that total in debt). That certainly fits the definition of “sucks” for most Republicans.

1. No politician named "Boner" should ever use the word "sucks" in a sentence.
Just sayin'.

3. Re-brand the party - that's funny
Hey boehner you are just not hating enough to satisfy your base of rabid yahoos. Go out and shoot some immigrants or set fire to a women's health clinic, or best of all start talking about doing away with that pesky constitution. You don't need to rebrand, you need to invigorate those who love what you used to do.

5. Much turmoil
Here in Va. they are having a really hard time trying to figure out how the immigration BS isn't paying off the way the "black thing" used to. This completely is outside the playbook.

Several articles around here as they try to convince themselves that it isn't the philosophies fault it is the people!! no wait can't blame them...uh....

6. I got a call from them about a month ago.
They asked for someone with my last name and then said Ha. Told them no of course.

Their list must have the name field with only 14 characters. Cause I signed up in 2004 and added Hates Bush to my last name. I still get mail from them and others with Hates Bush.

8. I got mailing stickers from an organization that must had paid for the list
Well now I can use those at appropriate times.

I learned a hint about using mailing labels. I can use them for raffle tickets so I don't have to write my name and address for each ticket purchased.
