RasmusWeeklyPoll: Hillary 35%, Obama 26%, Edwards 14%
This is the weekly poll, not the daily one.

Look at the numbers for this latest week and compare to the week ending 5/28/07.

For the "frontrunners", this campaign is back to where it was 6 months ago; or even 9 months ago. Also look at the numbers for 3/5/07. Hillary is back down to reality, Obama and Edwards have not moved.

1. Rasmussen is not a reliable poll.
In fact, I don't put much stock in any polls.

2. Actually Ras was one of (if not the)
most reliable in '06. Why do you think it's unreliable?

3. I don't think any are reliable.
A lot of people don't have landlines nowadays. The people being polled are not truly representative of the population.

5. The people without landlines are disproportionately young
but I assume that this is corrected for by stratified sampling that adjusts to reflect the demographics. So unless the people without landlines are different from their peers in the same demographic cell - likely defined by race, income, and age - it wouldn't be a problem. A different problem is that the non response rate on polling is said to be increasing. As that happens, you have the same problem as mentioned for people without landlines. As the number of people unwilling to be polled increases, it puts more weight on the assumption that they are similar to the people who will answer.

4. Looks accurate to me. Maybe Rasmussen is like the broken clock that's correct twice a day.
