After Some Thought I have decided my vote won't count, so f$%k the primaries
Edited on Mon Dec-10-07 01:17 AM by JCMach1
I vote in Florida, so my primary vote is SCREWN (i.e. no delegates to the convention) in all sorts of ways... I will just wait until the general election at this point.

Obama, Hill, whoever... you guys fight that battle. I am out of the deal until Fall anyway... :(

I can also save all my donations for then as well.

2. My vote won't count either.
Everybody else except 4 other states and one possession will have already voted before we have our primary. This sucks. Everybody should vote on the same day so all votes will count.

3. Exactly... basically my vote didn't count in '04 either... the nomination
was basically sewn up. MY candidate Dean had dropped out and I voted for Kucinich as a protest vote about the IWR.

6. Not voting, regardless of the situation, is a bad habit to get into....
I have made every trip to the polls, regardless of what the election s about, not only to cast my ballot, but also because I don't want to see apathy. I have never tossed my vote intot the trash, and I have never voted for someone out of spite for someone else.

Maybe it's becasue I've worked on Election Boards, been there as the votes are cast and helped to get people out to vote for many years.

There are times when I have voted on the losing candidate or issue, but by casting my vote, I earned the right to complain...:)
