Huckabee wins Iowa and pretty much Romney's campaign is basically dead as a result. So who does NH vote for? Probably not Huckabee as he's way too right socially for NH and has a bad record on taxes plus the evangelical vote is weak there. Giuliani has too much scandal baggage. Thompson is a snore.

So who's left? McCain. The Union Leader endorsed him. He's still popular with indpendents. I think that's what's going to happen.

1. So my question is, would he have to file an income tax?
McCain would have to return from the dead, definitely. If for no other reason than to make arrangements for Fred Thompson's funeral, including being the point man to tell Fred he's been dead for months.

3. yeah. the guy who came back from the dead in britain is being tried for fraud
McCain would be subject to the same here, but surely he could "Libby" himself out of the jam with a commutation? ;)

2. Romney wins New Hampshire regardless of his 2nd place finish in Iowa. Plus Ron Paul is taking too

much of a bite out of McCave-in's base for McCave-in to rebound past Romney. With that said, McCave-in could finish as high as 2nd in New Hampshire.

4. i agree that giuliani and thompson are done
But I am not sure we can dismiss Romney yet. He has too much money and Huckabee is just getting scrutiny. We don't know how well Huckabee will hold up to it. He may wither away in 2 weeks.

5. Ayyyyyy! At this point I don't give a damn WHO wins Iowa or NH
on either side. Because they aren't going to be the ones who win the election. It's the MSM trying to POll us into BELIEVING that who wins there will be the frontrunner.

Sick of it....
