I am currently leaning towards Clinton for my nominee, but I could totally get behind Obama, Richardson, Edwards, Biden, or Kucinich. We are indeed fortunate to have such a fine field of candidates for our nominees. They all have attributes I admire, some more than others, but politics is subjective by nature. I cannot fathom why any democrat could not get behind any of these candidates if chosen to lead the democrats to the whitehouse!
We're getting closer to the time when we have to lay our differences aside and win this damned election. What can we do as individuals to assure victory on November? Talk to your friends, relatives, and co-workers who may be on the fence, and ask them what the republicans have done for them the past seven years. They have destroyed our image as a world model, they have destroyed our economy, job market, legal system, electoral system, and they injected a level of corruption in congress unsurpassed by any other. Most of them know this already, but reminding them will muster those feeling of resentment come election day. I think more minds are changed on the basis of peer pressure as logic and reason. I actually won over my parents, who have voted for Bush the last two years. I was telling them how corrupt and incompetent he was before he was elected the first time. Now, they agree that what I said turned out to be true, and they had made a mistake voting for Bush. There has to be thousands, if not millions out there who feel the same way. Give em a nudge in the right direction. Bush has made the job pretty easy for us, so let's put the icing on the cake!
