Biden at 10% In SC Poll!
From NBC's Mark Murray
The polls are coming out fast and furious this Friday afternoon... A new Insider Advantage poll of South Carolina (conducted Dec. 3-4 of 421 likely Dem voters) has Obama at 26%, Clinton at 24%, Edwards at 15%, and Biden at 10%.

I'm gasping -- double digits! :bounce:

He seemed fairly certain of it...

5. Happy for you, Gately
I don't want you to get hurt, though. I was reading on MyDD that most of the sample was largely of whites and SC is about half black in population. Let's see if this is confirmed. We should find the polling data.

13. Yeah, I know, I didn't mean anything other than what I'm saying
I'm saying there might be something wrong with the numbers being given out. It wouldn't make sense for a state with that many AAs to poll a relative few out of the overall population. We'll see. I just wanted to alert you to what I saw. I'm trying to find the data, but it doesn't seem to be available yet.

I'm hoping for the best :hi:

I guess we'll just have to wait and see when primary day rolls around. I'm ok with that. I never trust polls anyway. There's a new poll every 32 seconds, LOL...

PS; I think you probably just left out the word "voter", so that would explain why I thought you said the polulation, as in general population, not voting population.

Your comment;

"was largely of whites and SC is about half black in population."

21. Please don't misunderstand my intent
I'm not talking about anything but numbers on the poll, not who gets the votes.

Here, look. This is supposed to be the breakout of the sample. It doesn't look right to me for SC; the AA figure is too low to be representative of the voting population.

337 Caucasians
67 African Americans
3 Hispanics
23 Other

I've asked in that thread where that came from, but haven't received an answer. Eh, maybe I'm making something out of nothing. I'm sorry.

Hope is good :hi:

And this was from someone I have 'chatted' with many times before.

Biden captured the young voters? 40%! Hillary got 20%, Edwards, Kucinich, & Richardson all 6.7%, and Obama 13.3%.

I'm really surprised.
