Biden belongs in the White House
Edited on Fri Dec-07-07 11:58 AM by 1corona4u
By Valerie Brekke | Monday, December 03, 2007 |

Once again, Iowans have been inundated with numerous phone calls, mailings and opportunities to see and hear the array of current presidential candidates. When you listen to the media reports, remember the Iowa caucuses belong to Iowans. No pundit, pollster or celebrity can sway your vote.

It’s seductive and a lot easier to vote with the pack. Who wants to stand alone or risk backing the underdog? It takes courage, but we Americans, and Iowans especially, are known for our common sense and courage. We Iowans, who are used to the best corn-fed beef in the country, can recognize when we are being fed a load of baloney.

So I urge you to look into your hearts, ratchet up your courage and come to the caucuses to support U.S. Sen. Joe Biden — the most electable of all the candidates. Biden is a man who has the most extensive experience to lead us out of this mess in Iraq; a man who has the integrity and strength to lead this country forward. His ability to reach across both sides of the aisle means he can get the job done as President of the United States.

anyone that doesn't understand that, doesn't know how to "manage".

6. And anyone who doesn't try to work across the aisle...
only serves to widen the cavernous divide in this country. Not to mention, further the current stalemates we see in congress now.

7. I will not support fascism in ANY form... it's not about the aisle
it's about the future of our republic, which is dangerously close to a fascist police state thanks to all that 'work'.

16. Ah, the Nosferatu Theory of Politics.
"All we need to do is expose them to the light of the truth, and they'll be destroyed!"

to ignore this, is a critical mistake. It's the only way things get done.

10. Yes, he does. Bush has dangerously unstabilized the world to the point where
we can hardly afford to put any other candidate in the Oval Office.

11. All of us Bidenites

Hope and pray everyday that the people of Iowa are listening and get it right.

If our country was in the middle of prosperity, and the economic picture wasn't bleak with the debt we've incurred (not to mention record high oil prices)...if we didn't have our brave men and women abroad spilling their blood and losing their lives...if we didn't have Armageddon going on in the Middle East, and possible turmoil in Pakistan (a nuclear power), not to mention tensions with China, Iran, Russia, and keeping our eye on what happens with our ally Israel. If there wasn't so much critical attention needed to this world and our own country, I wouldn't really care who we elect. But we are not in a stable place as a nation, and our trust and credibility have been severely damaged around the globe. There is a clear and intelligent choice to make as Americans...and as I say...I hope and pray every day that America doesn't fail again.

17. Excellent Post
I couldn't have said it better myself.

This is why I have difficulty supporting anyone in the top tier. They are either not experienced enough for the times we live in or they are perceived to be divisive. WE CANNOT RISK THIS ELECTION. We have to get it right this time. Biden!

more people than all the shiny blingblings $100 million could buy :-) Thanks for sharing this.
