John Kerry on Imus just now "refusing to endorse a candidate."

Imus said this and then talked over Kerry and cut him off in mid-sentence when he was trying to elaborate on Imus' comment that he was refusing to endorse a Democratic candidate. Unfortunately, I only heard the last part of the interview.

Although, it's probably a smart move on his part. Am not sure if it would help or hurt whomever he endorsed.

That he will not endorse, period, not now nor in the future? Or that he is not ready to endorse yet, and/or not this morning on Imus? Do you know?
