Grassley predicts Romney, Obama will win caucuses

Washington, D.C. -- Republican Sen. Charles Grassley of Iowa predicted Wednesday that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney will narrowly win the state's Jan. 3 presidential caucuses --and that Democratic candidate Barack Obama will be a victor as well.

Grassley said Hillary Clinton could possibly finish in third place, behind John Edwards.

"I think Edwards is going to come out of Iowa looking better than he does nationally, and it may even help him nationally," he said.

Grassley, who has opted out of endorsing a candidate this election cycle, told Iowa reporters in a conference call that he believes Romney will hang on to the lead despite a recent surge in the polls by Mike Huckabee.

It's getting pretty obvious. If this is true, the next thing that should happen is they will start attacking him. It will be after January, though, but before Super Tuesday.
