The great thing about polls...
is that there is usually enough quantity and variation in them so that most people can pick and choose and find at least one that supports his/her agenda.

Hillary's up, she's down. Obama's racing ahead; he's falling behind. Edwards is gaining; he's trailing.

So, if you have a favorite candidate (or a least-favorite candidate, as often seems the case), pick a single poll that says what you want it to say, ignore the rest, and declare victory!

1. The candidates' behaviors tell you more than the polls at this stage
And the frontrunner in Iowa wouldn't be on the attack if she was really the frontrunner in Iowa.
