Tweety going off on Clintons on Morning Joe, especially Bill
He thinks its a bad strategy to go after Obama's character and thinks that there are some internals that are real bad for Hillary, and that is why she is doing that strategy. Then he really slammed Bill for his comments about how he was always against the war (when he really wasnt).

1. That was interesting.
He made a valid point about how the democrats in the congress would have reached a different decision if Bill Clinton had actually been against the war. I have to agree with him on that.

50. That's EXACTLY what I've been saying. And he stayed close to Bush with that support
throughout 2004, especially during his summer book tour, while our Dem nominee, at every campaign speech and rally, had been opposing Bush's DECISION to invade because the weapon inspectors had been PROVING force was not needed.

Clinton said he wished Bush had waited BUT STILL SUPPORTED his decision to invade.

And when Kerry, Dean, Clark and Gore were saying throughout 2003-4 that Rumsfeld had to go, neither Clinton would back that position.

Hillary's campaign knows more about their internal #s and more than slightly worried.

7. It is good to
hold politicians to certain standards, such as telling the truth. Bill Clinton's saying he was against the war is not much different than Karl Rove blaming it on the timing of the vote in congress. When it comes to telling the truth, the democrats are much better than the republicans; however, when they lie, they seem a lot alike.

I don't care if he "speaks" a "lie" now that he is campaigning to be President again.

THAT is what all the Repukes are afraid of, Bill not Hill.

13. There were, and are,
many good things about Bill Clinton. However, it is sad that anyone would be pleased to be lied to about the events that led our nation to the war of occupation in Iraq. Republicans are not afraid of those who are gleeful at the prospect of being lied to in such a situation, nor of those who tell such lies .... they embrace both.

I'm perfectly capable of deciding who I will vote for without the keen insight of someone who is happy to be lied to by politicians. Thanks, though.

Truth be known: I campaigned and voted for Bill Clinton X2; campaigned and voted for Senator Clinton X2. It is possible to be offended by Bill Clinton's lie, and still be open-minded about Hillary Clinton's campaign for the nomination.

with hill in the lead with some real bloopers. Attacking Barack about KINDERGARDEN? she must be really desperate. Chris was on fire and entertaining.

You have to agree with him - Penn saw something in hill's endless polling or focus group that scared the shit out of the campaign. That smell? trying to replace the campaign's underwear fast enough. They may be switching to depends soon.

6. Fuck Tweety. Even Dan Abrams is getting higher ratings at 9
Edited on Mon Dec-03-07 07:39 AM by DainBramaged
Tweety is becoming irrelevant on a slowly changing (left) news channel.

http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/

The Scoreboard: Thursday, Nov. 29
5pm: Hardball 105000 viewers 9PM: Abrams: 151000 viewers

That must eat at Tweety's craw. As I have said so many time before I can go to Times Square even this morning and more people will hear me with a bullhorn than watch that miserable fuck.

10. Dont speak about something you obviously know nothing about.
First off, if you bothered to pay attention, youd see that Hardball has two airings, 5pm and 7pm. The 7pm airing always gets more viewers and this continues as he had 166,000 in the demo and 538,000 in total viewers. While Abrams had 151,000 in the demo and 420,000 total viewers. Thats the facts. Not to mention Abrams benefits from a big KO lead in and is in primetime, while Chris had to rely on a Tucker lead in, which is next to nothing. Next time get your facts straight.

23. He was the MSNBC general manager
Now, hes back to work at 9 because of the show I'm watching. And btw, I like him too. I like all of MSNBC, even Tucker (I disagree with him a lot, but I like his show). But his show is not doing nearly as well as Scarborough did in the post KO slot. He doesnt hold on to Keith's lead in well at all, and they need to find a show to put on post Keith that can actually compete, cuz he sure as hell cannot.

Edited on Mon Dec-03-07 08:46 AM by hnmnf
He is doing something completely legal, and the Dodd and Clinton campaign are raising a stink about it, as well as a reporter from the Register. The candidates may be making a stink cuz they are down quite a bit to Obama when it comes to young voters.

49. That story of thousands of students
being bused in from Illinois came from David Yepsen:

"Given that lots of students in Iowa's colleges and universities are from Obama's neighboring home state of Illinois, the effort could net him thousands of additional votes on caucus night.

It's not the first time Obama has profited from the fact he's from an adjacent state. Illinois residents routinely show up at the candidate's events in eastern Iowa. (The first question Obama took at an Iowa town meeting was from a guy from Naperville.)

Also, campaign volunteers come from Illinois to campaign for him. And opposing campaigns accused Obama's campaign of busing people into Iowa from Illinois to attend the recent Jefferson Jackson Dinner, a charge Obama's campaign has denied.

snip: But turning out-of-state college students into Iowa voters is a different, larger, matter. Thousands of votes are involved and it risks offending long-time Iowa residents.

But, then, they do politics a little differently in Illinois than they do in Iowa.

DAVID YEPSEN

29. Everyone of...
these type threads are nothing more than another salvo launched to either bolster one's chosen candidate, or to tear another down. Tweety, as he is so fondly referred to here, is useful to all sides. He is one of those dip-shit, wishy-washy reporters who can be used as a good guy, or a bad guy, depending upon who is posting, and the content. This time he's ragging on HRC, thus, Clinton must be bad, and Tweety has credibility. Tomorrow, it will be someone else, another thread will be posted, and he will be the boot-licking, repug shill once again, with zero credibility. Thanks.
