Which candidate will be Toughest on Terror?

I don't support any of the candidates, and I am not particularly concerned about what FoxNews et. al. refer to as "terror," but the average voter is very concerned about it.

He believes most of what he has heard about terror from the bush regime and its network cheerleaders, and for him, the election is about who should prosecute America's ongoing War on Terror.

Your candidate, whoever he is, will have to convince Joe Voter that he and he alone can be counted on to root the terrorists out of their holes and bring them to justice, crack down on terrorist sleeper cells hiding right here in the USA, and stamp out anti-American sentiment wherever it is found.

With all respect to the admiration, faith and love that people feel for their candidates, I am not looking for "because Candidate X is GREAT" or "he will be trusted to take care of it."

Joe Voter doesn't want Valentines, he doesn't care how dewy your eyes are. Joe wants nuts and bolts. Plans. Specifics:

How does your guy plan to win the War on Terror?

What specific measures will he take to root out these sleeper cells?

What sacrifices will his plan require of ordinary Americans?

How will he root out sleeper cells and keep the Homeland safe from terror?

What is his plan to stamp out anti-American sentiment?

2. Clark, I agree...
I am not a Clark supporter, and I don't believe that "terra" can be rooted out using terrorist tactics, torture, and endless war.

But for whom DF calls "Joe Voter", I think Clark is the only one who seems extremely "qualified" for the "War on Terra". Quote marks, because I believe that war only increases the number of terrorists and the reason for attacks.

How does your guy plan to win the War on Terror?

He'll win it the only way it can be won, BY ENDING IT!

What specific measures will he take to root out these sleeper cells?

Probably by cancelling CIA funding.

What sacrifices will his plan require of ordinary Americans?

They have to quit being afraid of conjured boogeymen and start learning what REAL freedom is.

How will he root out sleeper cells and keep the Homeland safe from terror?

As I said, kill the CIA and stop trying to rule the world.

What is his plan to stamp out anti-American sentiment?

Refraining from stealing people's resources and killing their people.

Granted some of these are guesses, but from what I've seen of him, I don't think they're much of a stretch.

8. LOL
I agree. In addition to the above:

Dennis is all about diplomacy. About partnership with the world. I believe that a lessening of American dominance/tyranny abroad would lead to a lessening degree of threat from terrorists. And for the threat that remains, Dennis would build coalition with the rest of the world to address it. It would be a global issue, not just an American issue.

4. First off, Kerry predicted this in his 1997 book, The New War.
Kerry wrote the legislation to track terror funds and shut them down in the mid90s. The Bush administration was not enforcing the law before 9-11.

Kerry also believes the people must sacrifice and show the courage to give up their over-reliance on fossil fuels and concentrate on and fully fund research for alternative fuels.

His plan against terror is at his site www.johnkerry.com

The fire fighters like his plan for first responders best and endorsed him.

11. I don't want someone tough on terror!!!!!!!
Tough on terror? Bush made that term up. This is like thinking that cutting off limbs will make a system wide cancer go away. You are attackign a sympton, not a disease.

I want terrorism solved.

I do not want someone tough on terror.

The two are completely different, and until we realize that imperialism will only spread the disease, we will forever experience terror. Period.

12. ending terror is endemic
to the candidate and their approach towards their fellow americans.

If the candidate supports the war on drugs, to terrorize and imprison millions of drugs users.. they are a terrorist and clearly cannot end "terror".

Only dennis k. represents and end to terror, by his statements, by his own life and by his actions.

Crime is a police matter. Terrorism is crime. Killing 1000's of civlians with bombs is a crime also.
