Hillary Leads GOP Rivals in United States
(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton holds the upper hand in the 2008 United States presidential election, according to a poll by Gallup released by USA Today. At least 49 per cent of respondents would vote for the New York senator in head-to-head contests against four prospective Republican rivals.

Rodham Clinton holds a five-point edge over former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, a six-point lead over Arizona senator John McCain, a 13-point advantage over actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson, and a 16-point lead over former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

1. Yes, and much to Michelle's chagrin. Hillary holds 51% of the black vote in SC
Michelle is practically living in SC and in spite of her presence, Obama polls a miserable 23% among black voters.

5. The money people have decided
Hillary will be the next president. It has been decided....all that is left is to push the public to support her. Guiliani's explosive trouble has eliminated him from the race.

And the Iraq war will grind on with her in office.
And Iran will either be attacked just prior to or just after the elections.
And Afghanistan will continue to bleed.
Universal healthcare will be relegated to the back offices for ongoing "discussions".

Not much will change.
Bush will not be impeached - even though America desperately needs to do this. Fascists/corporatists should not be allowed to get away with the crimes they have already committed against the US constitution, international law, against its own people and human rights.

I'm sorry for being so skeptical - I like Hillary. But she will not do the dirty work that is necessary to clean the American government house. If she came out with a firm statement against war profiteers, about changing the dynamic of warmaking so that war profits were not possible - I might change my mind. If she would state she would pursue all war criminals regardless of their nationality or status - I might reconsider. But, of course she won't. The war profiteers have become so powerful, so wealthy - and money talks......and she is listening. No fault to her - they all do. They have hitched their wagon to her - and she will be the next president.

It is a sorry sorry state - where the UN oil for food scandal could be said to have led to the invasion of Iraq because of Saddam using illegal funds to buy weapons......and resulted in the deaths of up to a 1/2 a million souls, a broken nation......and on the other end - a texas oilman who corrupted the system - gets one year in prison......there is something very wrong with this scenario.

6. Understand something..
If all you've written in the above post were anywhere near the Truth, rather than your conjured unfounded speculation, I wouldn't be one of her most avid supporters.

Furthermore, you give not an iota of evidence to back up your speculative posits. So, I'll ask you one simple question for which in your mind has already been decided but you have yet to mention.

WHY? What is the benefit to Hillary?

8. Well, I have as much right to question the 'Fortune Teller' du jour
as s/he does to write unverifiable speculation as fact.
