Our guys were so superior to this group of nimrods, they had fun,
made jokes (Joe Biden) and covered such a large spectrum of of issues Americans really care about. After tonight I just can't see how anyone with any gray functioning matter could vote Repug. I am so proud of our Dems, I hope Americans are paying hard attention. Can't wait to hear the pundits...

1. Romney just said it was AOK to torture. McCain gave him a punch
upside the head.

5. Perhaps if Mitt were water boarded he would understand whether
or not it is torture.... I mean, if he really wants to know... he should do his homework.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waterboarding

World War II

During World War II, Japanese troops, especially the Kempeitai, as well the Gestapo, the German secret police, used waterboarding as a method of torture. The German technique was called the German equivalent of "u-boat". During the Double Tenth Incident, waterboarding consisted of binding or holding down the victim on his back, placing a cloth over his mouth and nose, and pouring water onto the cloth. In this version, interrogation continued during the torture, with the interrogators beating the victim if he did not reply and the victim swallowing water if he opened his mouth to answer or breathe. When the victim could ingest no more water, the interrogators would beat or jump on his distended stomach.<32><33> In 1947, the United States charged a Japanese officer, Yukio Asano, with war crimes for carrying out waterboarding on a U.S. civilian. Asano was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor.<34>

6. Someone in the know...I forget who....said waterboarding is not simulated drowning...
It IS the exact same thing as drowning! You ARE drowning! However, it can be stopped at any moment and is suppose to be under control. The body, not just the mind...goes through all the physical attributes of drowning...like lungs filling with water etc. and several prisoners have actually died from waterboarding. It's like drowning someone over and over again...and they can't even hold their breath and slowly release oxygen. They immediately start breathing in water. AND THAT'S NOT TORTURE?

Let's do it to George bush and ask him what he thinks.

2. I agree but then
I couldn't believe that * could even come close in '00. We really can't underestimate the lack of grey matter in regard to the American public.

3. I Was Shocked...
that Bush won in 04. Stunned. I began to realize just how far to the right this country was. I still haven't recovered.
