That 5 day old Wash Post is the new Pew poll..

Remember that famous Pew poll two days before the election that all the Pundits hailed as evidence that the Rethugs were making a comeback and that Dems would do badly in the 06 midterms?
Well now we have the washington Post poll from last week..the ONLY poll that actually shows Obama ahead in Iowa..and suddenly it is the new baremoter of the nation. Tweety is still braying "Obaaaaaaamaaa..Obaaaaaamaaa" and the always idiotic Noron O'donnel chortles that because Oprah is stumping for Obama that women will turn against Clinton.
Whatever will the press do if the next polls come out and show Clinton ahead again?

Five days before the Great Democratic Meltdown in 1994, the WP produced a poll showing Democrats with a 50%-45% lead in the generic congressional ballot. I never trusted them again.

Oh, and the WP seems unwilling to let Bush's approval rating drop below 33%, as every other reputable pollster--even FOX--has shown at one time or another.
