1. Wow, I didn't think people were this sick.
67% think the health care plan is the bigger triangulation so far. I don't think we'll see them show their faces though.

3. I would have voted for finding the distance to Jupiter
as the greatest feat of triangulation, but that wasn't a choice.

It could be a factor

5. Because not everyone only chooses friends that they agree with.
I think DK respects him for bring principled and doing what he thinks is best. This doesn't make him right, as he's very wrong on most things, but it's still an important factor in deciding what to think of the man.

Or we can just foam at the mouth about everyone we disagree with, and reduce our chances of getting anything good done.

8. His "principles" are racist, sexist, homophobic loony tunes
Its not "foaming at the mouth" to avoid detestable people and Ron Paul is definitely detestable

6. Like likes like.
Both are ideologues who are pariahs in their own party, and who have found niche support by pandering to the most extreme in their own party. Both justify their lack of support by claiming they're the "only true (liberal/conservative)," and their simplistic messages by claiming they're the only "truth-tellers" out there.

9. Maybe you need another look at that man in your avatar
His partial birth abortion votes, restricting federal funding for abortion, Deployment to get out of Iraq, Patriot Act support and War Vote are all examples of pandering to extremists.

DK's stances can all be traced back to past Democratic presidents who are regarded as greats.

Who's Biden got to paralell himself with?

Joe Liebermann?

Oh, and that other Joe often gets slammed for caving to the neo cons. Oddly enough, Joe Biden is to the right of that other Joe on a whole host of issues.
