A question for those who actually know our candidates

I was reading a profile of Hillary in the Advocate the other day which described her relationship with a gay male employee and how they interacted. It got me to wondering. What relationship do the other candidates have with gay employees or friends and how has that informed their public policy. I know some candidates have people who are very close to them posting here. For example Elizabeth Edwards has posted here on occasion. So if you know our candidates, who do our candidates know?
