Bush and his cronies have been corrupt and things need to be turned around. The GOP guys are pretty much in lock step with him. Any Dem, some better than others would be better. Hillary, with her experience, intelligence would be good though my fav is Richardson.

19. Elizabeth Hasselback has to keep her name in the news
She will be on maternity leave for 3-months and she has no professional talents/skills to offer therefore she will use whatever she has, including her supposed support of a Democrat in the the Primaries to keep her name in the news. Anything to keep her face and name out there which will allow her to keep her seat at the table for The View.

Does anyone give a damn if Chuck Norris or Elizabeth Hasselback or What's His Name/Wrestler,support a candidate????

Edited on Tue Nov-20-07 09:30 PM by antiimperialist
That's right. Hasselbeck's probable decision of voting for Hillary came after Hillary sent her a "warm note" wishing her well in her pregnancy.

So Iraq, health care, etc. are best handled by the candidate who sends the warmest note to voters.

Interesting.

55. John Edwards voting record SCREAMS war pig
Hey, he even co-sponsored the IWR and like Clinton voted against measures to dilute it (Levin & Durbin amendments) And Dodd and Biden are war pigs too. facts are facts.

*the point of this post for the rather slow, is that Clinton is hardly alone in her questionable judgement. And frankly, I think the term war pigs is disgusting and doesn't actually say anything salient.

57. Yes, Clinton IS alone in her CONTINUED questionable judgment
as demonstrated by her absurdly hawkish (or Piggish) vote for Kyl-Lieberman.As John Edwards recently pointed out in an open debate forum, he has LEARNED from his mistakes, and this (K-L)legislation was not only unnecessary and counter-productive, it was also eerily similar to things we've unfortunately witnessed before (2002/2003).The rest of the Dem candidate field agreed.
Fool me once, right, Hillary?:eyes:

63. Why should I trust what Edwards says now?
His Senate record sucked. Easy for him now to just apologize for 6 years of shit. And much as I deplore K/L, it is not the same thing as the IWR. It carries no force of law. It offers a fig leaf to bushco, and that's bad enough. I don't support Clinton in large part because of her record on war, but I'm consistent- unlike you, and I won't give anyone else a pass either.
