Can any one help me??? I just found out that my SiL who is supposed to be a dem
is backing thompson, I think because her numb nuts of a husband is. Does any one have any links to thompson "accomplishments" What I thought I'd do is print out little snippets of his history and leave them lay on my MIL's table over Thanksgiving I know she'll read them because she's nosy that way.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

1. You won't have to worry too much longer
Everyone seems to think he will drop out pretty soon.

2. There is legislation pending that would limit
people to buying only one gun each month. But even one would be sufficient to put her out of her misery.

3. I would try to avoid something like that on Thanksgiving.
Seriously.

If someone is dumb enough to back Freddy, no matter HOW they are coerced, there is little chance for redemption.

5. Thompson has one foot in the grave politically...
not worth a family feud, seriously.

6. Dude is going nowhere but back to his La-Z-Boy. No need to go nuclear on Turkey Day.
Let's hope they poured tons of cash into his campaign - LOL.

Seriously, he's politically dead in the water, so feel free to be silently smug all day.

7. The issue of ruining Thanksgiving is going to overshadow any points you try to make.
Serious; there is almost no way to be compelling about this by using the captivity of your audience to try to change their minds. You'll just blow your chance to do it later when you might be able to actually do something.

9. Put him in a pink turtleneck, and he'd be a ringer for a wrinkly, uncircumcised penis.
That's about all I can come up with.

10. I'd be more worried that your SIL would consider voting for any Republican
Maybe you need to let her know what's at stake. Supreme Court, anyone?

11. How about
"Voting for Thompson is not going to get your husband a trophy wife with cans like his wife, no matter how many people he cons into voting for that idiot."

That ought to get the party off on the right foot. No, the other right foot.

13. I agree with not making a big issue out of it
Frederick of Hollywood isn't going to make a dime's worth of difference. What might be more useful would be to ask, sincerely (well as sincerely as you can muster), why her husband thinks Thompson is worth voting for.

16. I did this already, her hubby is a devout repuke, she used to be but we
changed her because of bush, their reply was "well I'm sure not voting for Hillary!" I ask them if they've heard there are a few more dems besides Hillary running? Dead silence. Oh her hubby was also one of these repukes who said during bush's 2nd campaign, if the Kerry/Edwards ticket was the other way around they would vote for them!

And no need to worry about ruining turkey day because some one always turns it to politics because there is a lot of animosity among siblings because half are dems the others repukes.

15. If Thompson Drops Out
which he will before the end of the year, get 'em to promise that they'll stay home as a protest. Better that than vote for any other Republican.
