Clark Ad Features Bill Clinton

Accepting the Presidential Medal of Freedom doesn't suck. Might be a good counter to the "weak on national security" card the pukes will play. Clark rules.

1. Clark is the candidate who can beat bush!!
That looks like a great ad! It combines Clark's military experience along with association with Bill Clinton.

2. You mean obliterate Bush
An online DU poll last week showed 20% of Clark supporters voted for Bush last go-round. And no, that doesn't mean Clark is a republican so save THAT thread. What it means is that Clark can wins over "swing voters". And swing voters, not "rallying the base" is what wins elections.

13. We need a good portion of both groups
If base voters stay home and vote 3rd party, it could make the election closer than needed. Without swing voters, we're at a disadvantage, because we can only have so many base voters.

7. I thought Bill Clinton doesn't sell well among Repugs?
Another thread claims Clark would be stronger in the General, although he isn't as popular with Democrats. Wouldn't playing the Clinton card sabotage his chances not only with Republicans, but with the anti-DLC factions who align behind Gore rather than Clinton? Well, I guess he could get the swing voters.

3. We already know
that the repukes are going to make the war, terrorism and homeland security "The Issue" in the campaign and that commercial is a perfect counter to it. He and Kerry are the only 2 candidates who can play the "Military" card against KKKRove's campaign and Clark can do it exceptionally well..

I was watching C-SPAN this morning and they were talking about the state of politics. One speaker said that if ANYONE thinks the administration is NOT going to use the war, terrorism and homeland security as their MAIN campaign issue, THEY ARE SLEEPING! I agree.

Wes Clark will extirpate this administration!

11. Looks like Clinton is starting to emerge as a Clark admirer
I can't really say "endorser" 'cause I don't think he
can do that as a former Prez. I wonder if they'll do
an appearance together though.
