Something to keep in mind about NH.
I posted this elsewhere and thought it was worthwhile for it's own thread.

NH is a strange state electorally. Independents can vote in either party's primary. That means if one of the candidates from either party gets hot, it can affect support in the other party's race. Democrats AND republicans will be going after a lot of the same voters. So if Ron Paul gets hot as predicted, he could reduce the number of people voting in the Democratic race. Also, if the Democratic race is more interesting, it could work vice versa.

This played out the last time both Dems and Pukes had NH races. McCain got hot and lots of people voted for him. This sucked the air out of Bill Bradley's campaign. Former Bradley people will tell you that they lost because McCain was getting all the attention.

1. I'm all for Ron Paul getting a lot of attention in NH
it would send a message that it isn't just liberals who want us out of Iraq, imho. And it might stop the Guliani steamroller that the MSM has cooked up.

I want to see Kucinich do well,too--if both of these candidates do far better than predicted, the other candidates will have to sit up and take notice that the country wants out of Iraq.

2. That's not necessarily a good thing.
Because it could prevent a more progressive candidate from winning the Democratic primary. Paul winning symbolically while someone like Hillary wins the Democratic primary would be counter-productive.

3. Two words: Dennis Kucinich.
He's given up on the rigged Iowa caucus, but if Dennis can get to third in NH, I think he's got a shot at the whole enchilada.

Why are we giving all this time to all the incompetents who were WRONG consistently on issue after issue after issue? Because they are more charismatic/have more money/more corporate support/are insiders?

REAL Progressive Democrats Vote Kucinich.

4. I hate to break it to you, but he won't be in the top half in NH.

He'll probably finish 6-7
