One thing Conservatives need to remember is it was Bush I who started the Somalia
fiasco in place...

Well after he was defeated for Re-Election, Bush I sent troops into Somalia on December 4, 1992...

He stuck Clinton with the commitment...

Fast forward to the USS Cole...

That attack was planed and executed on October 12, 2000....

Right smack in the middle of the US presidential campaign...

Clinton, not wanting to start something he couldn't finish, unlike the prissy Bush I, he decided it would be best if the incoming administration dealt with the problem...

And we all know how effectively Bush II was at dealing with that particular situation...

Bottom line, daddy played politics with the Somalian relief mission and Jr. played politics by not doing anything and letting Clinton bear the brunt of responsibility for the US Cole situation...

And as far as the first attack on the World Trade Center, didn't we catch those guys through police work and aren't they in jail as we speak...

Where in the world is Osama...

I'm just pissed because I keep hearing, even now, that the GOP is better at foreign policy than the democrats...

And these are the reasons most cited...

Fuck that shit...

2. The republicans are much better at having a unified voice...
And they repeat, and repeat, and repeat the lies...

Till everyone (or nearly everyone) believes them...

3. With regard to your statement re: the attack on the USS Cole
"Clinton, not wanting to start something he couldn't finish, unlike the prissy Bush I, he decided it would be best if the incoming administration dealt with the problem..."

President Clinton stated in a September, 2006 interview on faux news channel that:

We could not get the CIA and the FBI to certify that al Qaeda was responsible while I was President. until I left office. And yet I get asked about this all the time and they had three times as much time to get him as I did and no one ever asks them about this. I think that’s strange.

4. Well he didn't want to start something because he didn't have proof...
If he had started something before he had proof and it turned bad, it's pretty much the same thing...
