Kucinich ONLY one to vote against the "Patriot Act": BECAUSE HE READ IT!!!
Wolfie: Kucinich only person on stage who voted against PATRIOT Act.

KUCINICH: That's because I read it. The questioner is owed an apology. Aiming at Edwards' position changes since he was in the Senate. "Just imagine what it will be like to have a president who's right the first time."

Dennis Kucinich won my support with that line. I love him now!

1. Kucinich thinks he has popelike perfection? Godlike perfection?
So you just want someone to worship so you don't have to watch WTF he's doing? Because the price of freedom ISN'T eternal vigilance.

9. I think you're extrapolating his comments a bit
He didn't say he was infallible, but he did make the right decisions the first time. He exhibits good judgment and he's tooting his horn about it. Good on him.

Hell, he only got 5 minutes and 37 seconds to make his points, compared to 18:09 for Barack Obama. His only option was to hit and hit hard. I think he did some damage with the few shots he was allowed to fire.

In this debate, CNN was the clear loser. The Dem candidates looked great.

It was a great line. Dennis always manages to make a huge impact even though there's a naked effort made to silence him.

8. Neither Hillary nor Edwards read the intelligence before voting 'yes' on the IWR.
There's much to be said for informing oneself before making decisions of this magnitude.

the harm is done. countless souls have been lost. American and Iraqi. The thought of the carnage is beyond human comprehension.

16. and that is one mistake I simply cannot forgive
However, I will say that Hillary compounded the disgust I feel when she voted 'yes' on Kyl-Lieberman. That was the moment she and I parted company.

21. It isn't just the candidates who fear Kucinich
It is the entire corporate/government/military complex who fears Kucinich. He puts the people ahead of profit, truth, honesty and justice ahead of corporations, and those in the corporate/government/military complex fear that he will rightfully restrict their illegal, immoral actions.

Thus we see the spectacle of Kucinich, a man who has brought impeachment to the House floor, getting ignored and trivialized. Yet Kucinich is the only one up on stage who has consistently gotten it right the first time, every time. This is why I will continue to hang with Democratic party, to vote him into the nomination. After that:shrug:

19. LOL
Thanks, I needed that with all the serious convo going on tonight. Kucinich is by far my first choice for President, even rising above Al Gore at this point, who I had prefered up until now. KucinichTV.com had a good discussion after the debate about how Dennis was really robbed of air time, and did a pretty good job of it. Unless it becomes clear that Kucinich has absolutely NO chance in NC, I will be voting for him in the primaries.

25. That has to be the best response of the evening.
Followed by his response to the first questioner about leadership and the war; the one they didn't call on him to answer, and he backtracked to her question, to call for impeachment NOW.

30. Summary of DK's responses from the debate:
Edited on Fri Nov-16-07 10:54 AM by mrfixit
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYWWBwf2wHE

There is no other candidate with such a stellar reputation and clear voting record. He constantly votes his conscience and HONESTLY represents his constituents. He walks his talk, period. Clear winner in asses kicked per minute, HANDS DOWN!

I wish he got more time and better questions...he did the best (of any of them) with what he got, and CONSISTENTLY got the biggest ovations:

Supporting the winning candiate?
Impeach!
Read the Patriot Act.
Just. Imagine.
China Trade
Edwards the Trial Lawyer - knew better
Unions. Workers' Whitehouse
Labour/HealthCare/Education
Troop Surge NOT Working
NAFTA.

WOW.
