3. Iowa is the key that unlocks the White House
I wish California could be the key; but that's not going to happen.

16. Only 17% of Iowans pick "honesty" as a reason to support Edwards.
Iowans aren't stupid, Johnny.

17. Way to extrapolate there
I wouldn't have picked "honesty" as the reason I voted for Kerry, but that doesn't mean I thought he was dishonest.

So looking at this...
Honesty 17%
Cares about people 12%
Agrees on Issues 12%
Healthcare 9%

you think that AMONG THOSE WHO SUPPORT EDWARDS 83% think he is dishonest, 88% think he doesn't care about people, 88% disagree with him on the issues, 91% disagree with his healthcare ideas?

Gimme a fuggin break.

4. Talked with my brother in Sioux City and he did not think Hillary was
going to do as good as she thinks she will. He is active with the Union in that area. Hope he is right.

5. I just saw that the Iowa poll was done from Nov 2-11. That means it missed a lot of the
action over the past week or two.

It just came out and it is already outdated.

"The poll for Iowa was conducted by telephone from Nov. 2 through Nov. 11, and involved 793 Democratic caucusgoers and 480 Republican caucusgoers. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus four percentage points for Democrats and five percentage points for Republicans.

The New Hampshire telephone poll was conducted Nov. 9-12 with 417 Democratic and 302 Republican primary voters. Undeclared voters were asked which primary they planned to participate in. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus five percentage points for Democrats and six percentage points for Republicans."

8. Those numbers point to an Edwards win.
The much higher favorability rating than Sen. Clinton. The higher "regular" caucus-goer percentage than both Obama and Clinton. And, the second-choice support.

If this keeps up, Edwards will win Iowa.

9. I hope. And work.
A friends parents live in Iowa, he told me they say their whole block is for Edwards. They are mostly working and/or union people.

13. 4% ?
Is that his highest polling to date? I thought he had been doing a tad better.

18. Yeah, I thought he was a tad higher at one point, too. Well, if it hadn't been
for Gore, Biden would be firmly entrenched as number 4 in the DU Fund Drive! (We Bidenites take hope where we can find it!)

12. Whether its Edwards or Obama, if the "not Hillary" vote coalesced in one candidate, she'd be DOOMED.
