Biden raps Bush over Pakistan
"We've spent billions of dollars on a bet that Pakistan's government would take the fight to the Taliban and al-Qaida while putting the country back on the path to democracy," Biden said. "It has done neither."

snip

"Many Pakistanis believe that the moment Osama bin Laden is gone, America will disappear as well," Biden said.

4. I can certainly understand the Pakistanis' concerns - I doubt if the U.S. is
viewed through the warm and fuzzy filter.

As ALWAYS, Biden understands the big picture, not just addressing the immediate concerns, but how events need to play out in the future to ensure a stable government, security for the citizens, and Pakistan's part in the world arena.

6. Biden sees things so clearly and conveys it so well
He is looking at the big picture and is addressing it pragmatically. I hope and pray he is our next president.
