Why discuss giving illegal aliens a license when they aren't supposed to be here at all?

Besides I'm a firm believer that it's mostly the fault of those who HIRE.
How can you hire someone without proper identification?
Why cant they pay a decent wage?
Why cant they go down to the local unemployment office - I think Americans DO want to work especially for a fair wage.

4. Illegal Immigrants with drivers' licenses is an oxymoron, sorta

Oklahoma has passed a law about a month ago that requires anyone that hires, houses, transports, etc. illegals will be punished. The minimum is 1 yr. and/or $1,000, something like that anyway. Let me tell you, the illegals are getting scarcer by the day. It is unbelievable. We have a couple of rental houses rented to people we are fairly sure are illegals. Good renters, nice people, but, if they are they gotta go.

If every State had a similar law they probably wouldn't need all those other harsh restriction. The rule of supply and demand will no doubt set in and more legals could get decent paying jobs. I heard that pig farms in the Northern part of the State had to shut down. Most of us have no idea how many illegals have jobs that the average person once had that provided a minimum living style that is not here for them now. This is pretty sad. It is like we hate to run the illegals off and yet our economy can't handle the load and loss of job at the same time.
