68 NH Republicans endorse Obama
Just read this in my local paper. Apologies if its already posted... I didnt see it.

Sixty-Eight New Hampshire Republicans Announce their Support for Obama

Granite State Republicans cite Obama's direct answers, track record of forging bipartisan solutions

MANCHESTER, NH—Sixty-eight New Hampshire Republicans announce today that they have changed party registration to vote for Barack Obama in the primary. Many of these voters have never supported a Democrat before, but they see Obama as the only candidate in either party who has the character to be honest about where he’ll take the country, and the only candidate who has a proven record of bringing people together for real change.

“I’ve been a Republican all my life, but the challenges we face are too great to choose a candidate based on his party—we need to the choose the candidate who can bring fundamental change to Washington and start getting things done again,” said Jerry Spivak, an engineer from Nashua. “Barack Obama is the only candidate who will be able to break the partisan logjam and inspire Americans to come together around real solutions.”

11. Exactly. This is how Kerry eaked out the NH primary.

This year I think most Republicans will want to vote in their primary unlike 04 when Bush had no challenger.
It could make things interesting this time. If Richardson does well in Iowa and the NH voters make things close between Obama and Hillary there still maybe a four way race heading to South Carolina.
Richardson's anti war stance might gather steam if the top three right now are polling about the same.

8. 68 NH Republicans endorse Clinton
See! I told you she's REALLY a republican!

They are supporting her because she's the weakest candidate and they WANT her to be the nominee!

PRAWNS OF KKKARL! THIS IS A TRAP!!!

9. There's a difference between the leadership and the rank-and-file of a party
It's theorized (I don't necessarily agree) that the GOP elite want Clinton to be our nominee because she would be easiest to beat. The 68 GOP delegates appear to be people who decided on their own to support Obama. It's possible that it's part of some fiendish plot, but given the current level of dissatisfaction among Republicans, I doubt it.

12. Very true.
According to another article I read last week, many would-be Dem primary voters dont really see the point in voting in the Dem primary if Hillary is still so far ahead. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
