Hillary is Maureen Dowd's new Al Gore
Edited on Tue Nov-06-07 01:12 AM by antiimperialist
Maureen Dowd is obsessed with Hillary Clinton. Is she jealous that Hil is the next president of the United States while Dowd is just a dumb gossip queen? Probably.

I noticed that she's been narrowing her focus to the point that she only talks about Hillary Clinton, and never in a positive way.
Dowd recently wrote about "her opportunism, her triangulation, her ethical corner-cutting, her shifting convictions from pro-war to anti-war, her secrecy, her ruthlessness".

In her latest column, she said "Sometimes when Hillary takes heat, she gets paranoid and controlling. But this time she took the heat by getting into the kitchen. After trying to have it both ways during the debate, she tried to have it both ways after the debate."

As you can see, she loves to attack Clinton's character, not the issues. She's not smart enough to analyze issues.

Whether this criticizm is fair or not, and I don't think so, when was the last time you heard Dowd criticize Rudy Giuliani? And how often does she do it? This crackpot will do all she can to help bring Hillary down. she's her new Al Gore.

1. Nope. She hated her guts as a First Lady, too.

2. It is going to get a lot worse, and not only she, but any of OUR candidates better be ready for it
If this campaign is run like the 2004, or for that matter 2000 campaign, its over

NO CHARGE CAN BE LEFT UNANSWERED.

I suspect what dowd is hitting her on is Clinton's view that she was getting picked on in the debates. Whether true or not, Clinton better start taking the bull by the horns. She should heed the triangulation criticism though, and start coming out very CLEAR on the issues

3. Maureen Dowd just wants to make money
She's good with words and phrases, but she doesn't take a moral stand.

She was harder on Gore than on Bush.

She's as hard on Hillary as on Bush.

Neither Gore nor Hillary will ever come close to do the damage Bush has done.
